About Us

Ali & Abdullah Law Inn

Vision:
Ali & Abdullah Law Inn seeks to train well-rounded, critically mature, and socially conscious thinkers and practitioners. The keystones that provide the underpinning for our educational mission are the awareness of the mind, learning through participation, interdisciplinary inquiry, and an education for generalists.
What distinguishes A & A Law Inn apart from other law institutes is its commitment for the life of the mind--the belief that ideas matter, that they are to be discussed thoroughly and that legal education should devote itself to learning for learning's sake only.
Learning the law at A & A Law Inn therefore is a passionate--even concentrated--venture between and among faculty and students. This learning process begins in the classroom where students share the ideas with the teacher and results in seeking opportunities outside the premises for further conversation, learning and practice.
Ali & Abdullah Law Inn’s legal education prepares students for any professional role they might choose--legal practice or legal education, entrepreneurial ventures, international private or public law practice, corporate practice, government service, alternative dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation, or work with non-profit organizations.
Mission:
At A & A Law Inn, our mission is to provide our students with intellectual challenge, academic rigor and an opportunity to develop a foundation of moral values for lifelong service in the law, to offer an environment to our faculty which encourages personal growth and scholarly achievement and to continue our long-established tradition of service to the Bar and citizens of the community.
Motto:
For the mind to flourish and intellectual curiosity to thrive, A & A Law Inn believes, you must develop as a whole. That stems from the tradition of “cura personalis”—Latin for “care of the whole person”.
